Charlotte’s Half Marathon Challenge – Supporting Salisbury CAP Centre
Charlotte is taking on the Bath Two Tunnels Race on 16th August 2026 to celebrate three special milestones — CAP’s 30th anniversary, Salisbury CAP’s 12 years of supporting people out of debt, and her own 60th year! Having once avoided running completely, Charlotte has already run a half marathon for CAP national in 2017. She is now stepping up to this huge challenge to help raise vital funds specifically for the completely self-funded Salisbury CAP centre. Thanks to the support of volunteers, churches and local supporters, 128 people have already become debt free through the centre — but many more still need help. Every donation will help bring practical support, hope and a brighter future to people struggling with debt and poverty. The Barnabas Trust (Wessex), a local charity that supports Christian Initiatives has agreed to match any donations up to a total of £2,000, so let’s do everything we can to support Charlotte to reach her £2,000 target to double this amount!
