🌟 A Special Welcome 🌟

We rounded off a very special weekend this morning by formally welcoming Louise, Pam and Digby as Adherents during our morning service.

Please join us in praying for Louise, Pam and Digby as they continue their journey with us, and pray that God will continue to guide, strengthen and bless them

It is wonderful to see how Salisbury Corps is being blessed as God continues to bring new friends into our church family and community.

🌟 What a fantastic day at our Corps Retreat! 🌟

Today we enjoyed a wonderful day of teaching, learning, fellowship and fun at this year’s Corps Retreat, led by Colonels Neil and Chris Webb.

A huge thank you to them both for leading us and for creating such an amazing and uplifting day together. We’re also incredibly grateful to the staff at Sarum College for looking after us so well throughout the day.

It was a real blessing to spend time together as a Corps, learning, sharing and growing together. ❤️

It was great to welcome back some of our children this week from the Central Southern and Channel Islands Kids Camp!

We really enjoyed hearing all about what they got up to at Camp, their favourite moments and the highlights of their week. It sounds like they had an amazing time — and they’re already talking about going back next year! 😊

A huge thank you to all the Kids Camp leaders for putting on such a fantastic week and creating so many wonderful memories for our children.

We’d also like to say a big thank you to the members of our Corps who supported the children by helping them raise the funds they needed to attend. Your generosity and encouragement made it possible for them to have this special experience.

We’re so glad they had such a brilliant time! ❤️

Sadly, we are still looking for information about the bike that was stolen from our church foyer on Friday 31st July, between 6:30pm and 7:00pm.

We would like to say a huge thank you to That’s TV for holding an interview with Captain Martin to help raise awareness of the theft and appeal to anyone who may have information about what happened or the whereabouts of the bike. A link to the interview can be found below.

If you saw anything suspicious around the time of the theft, or have any information that could help us, please do get in touch.

Camp has begun! Thanks to your generosity, three of our children have embarked upon their Summer Camp journey 2026.
They are all SO excited, but understandably nervous (as are the parents left at home - although five minutes peace will be nice!).

Please pray for the young people of our division as they gather this week. May God calm their nerves, give them confidence, and really show himself to them through the activities the team have prepared. Don’t forget to pray for the staff too!

We can’t wait to hear all about their trip when they return.

A huge thank you to the Salisbury Journal for helping to publicise the theft of one of our Recycle Bikes, which was taken on Friday evening between 6:30pm and 7:00pm.

We are still trying to locate the bike, so if you have any information about its whereabouts, no matter how small it may seem, please get in touch. Your support in sharing this post is also greatly appreciated.

Thieves stole a Salvation Army charity bike during a community event, as the charity appeals for help to return it.

Today was a very special day in the life of our Corps as we welcomed Simon into Junior Soldiership.

We praise God for Simon's decision to publicly declare his love for Jesus and his desire to follow Him. It has been a privilege to watch him grow in faith, and we are so proud of the step he has taken today. Pictured with Simon is his Grandma Major Suzanne Clark who led the service, our Officer Captian Martin Davison, and Shilling Masih who led Simon through his classes.

As a church family, we commit ourselves to encouraging and supporting Simon on his journey with Christ. Please join us in praying that God will continue to guide him, strengthen his faith, and use him to be a shining light for Jesus wherever he goes

These were the words of the final tune our band played together before we begin our summer break.

We thank God for every member of our band, for their hard work, commitment, and faithful service throughout the year. Whether leading worship, supporting one another, or sharing the love of Christ through music, each person plays an important part.

We pray that everyone has a restful, refreshing, and safe summer, and we look forward to meeting together again soon to continue serving God through our music.

God be with you till we meet again. 🎺🎶
