Our popular Open Gardens event is back on Sunday 14th June, 1pm - 5pm. Begin at Watersmeet, Bugmore Lane - ample parking on the village green nearby. Maps £5pp, children free. End at New Gatmore with tea and homemade cake. All in aid of Save Our Church 🌹🌼🌺

The sun shone and the Pimm’s flowed at Holy Trinity on Thursday evening for SOC’s annual summer drinks party to thank its supporters.

Steve Ferrari talked through the finances and explained the need for continued support to keep the church open. Rev Marcia thanked everyone for their combined effort and presented some new ideas for future services.

Many thanks to Nicola for her delightful plant stall in aid of Save Our Church; we are very grateful. Now permanently set up and taking donations at the top of Lyvers Lane, near the Farley/Winterslow T-junction 🪴

Due to popular demand we have extended Diana Cotter's beautifully illustrated Treasure Hunt through the Bentley Wood bluebells in aid of Save Our Church. It will now finish at the end of the day on SUNDAY 19TH APRIL. Here is the first clue:

Since Saxon times, if not before
A place of worship has stood here.
Within these walls, behind the door
You'll find a map, in a box on the floor.
Please take one, £3 you must pay,
There's also a clue, to set you on your way.

NB there is a contactless card machine inside the church

Just a reminder that, happily, there is an Easter Day family service at Holy Trinity for the first time in many years this Sunday at 1100.

We are disposing of Holy Trinity’s old organ which is no longer played (but we believe still works). Please contact us if you know anyone who would like to take it off our hands. There is no charge but we would appreciate a donation to the Save Our Church appeal 🙏.
