Salford Elim Church

Salford Elim Church Our life together as church is not an end in itself. We believe that the God that created this world loves it. He never gives up on it. And it includes us.

We are a growing community of whole-life disciples who are alert to God’s leading, paying careful attention to one another and the moment we are in, so that we can be good news to those around us. We think friends are important; we believe that grace is important – so we don’t want to be judgemental; we believe that everyone has something to offer; we believe that we can experience God’s love and

presence together. One of the ways he demonstrates that love is through Jesus-followers, who seek to make a difference wherever they find themselves. So as a church we want to be a community that will equip people to grow as disciples of Jesus, as they live their everyday lives: at work, at home, in their neighbourhoods. After all, Jesus didn’t come to earth, live, die, and rise from the dead, just so folks would come to church. He has a much wider plan than that.

The church becomes an alternative society only when shaped by God’s mercy rather than Rome’s patterns.

Yesterday, three men made public declarations of their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour in front of friends and family.
