Could you help us make Christmas special for those who may have little or nothing under the tree on Christmas morning?

Each year we support families in Swinton and Salford with our Christmas Present Appeal.
With the kind donations received last year, with gifts of toys and financial donations through our Just Giving page, we were able to support 148 families, helping over 300 people.

Each Christmas it never ceases to amaze us how the public come together as community to help and support others.
This year, as a result of the cost of living crisis, we are expecting the number of families in need of help to rise.

This is why we are reaching out for your help.

If you are able to support the work of The Salvation Army, in both of these locations, 'BE A STAR' and bring some JOY to others this Christmas by donating to our Christmas Present Appeal!

We are still waiting for that person who wants to help us make a huge difference in our community here in Salford. We are looking for that person to step out in faith and become our Children & Family Mission Developer. So much of this role is about creating something new, that will show Gods love for where we are.

Salford Keys Salvation Army Community Church & Hub has come along way in the last 12 months as part of The Salford Development Project.
In March 2024 we were given the 'keys' to the old Salvation Army Central North Admin and we are excited to see what God is going to do in this community as we start to build relationships with our new friends in and around the site & re-establishing The Salvation Army here in Salford.

We've spent weeks and months emptying, cleaning, renovating the building & outside area in order that we can create a space where people feel welcome, secure, valued & loved by God through our interaction with them.

God has given us a clear mandate to keep the doors open... Revelation 3:6, 'I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut'.
The hard, yet privileged work with God has begun with exciting projects happening and on the horizon.

If you are a praying person can we ask that you support us in this new venture.
Also, as part of this we are still seeking the right person who will come along and take up the opportunity of joining our team as our new 'Children & Family Mission Developer'. If not a prayer your encouragement would mean so much.

We are excited to let you know about a couple of projects that will impact Salford in an amazing way that we hope will bring about change in our Immediate area.
These are external agencies but fully understand our community mission focus, yet willing for us to build positive relationships with them.

We have Headway UK on site, who are a brain Injury Charity & allowing us the privelege of being active Chaplains to them. They will be taking responsibilities for our newly created gardens, planters & small vegetable patch.

We are delighted to be able to offer space for a new Salford focused alternative education provision, named 'Innovation Education'. This is already giving young people in our area the opportunity to learn in a space created by its CEO & head lead that is specific to meeting their potential.

We are grateful for Innovation Education working in partnership with us here at Salford Keys SA in providing substancial renovations contractors to make the site what it is, especially In the new school annex.

We know God has great plans for us.

We have attached a few images of the transformation over the last 12 months.

God is at work & we know that He will continue to open doors to new opportunities.
