Christmas came early to the Cathedral Music Department yesterday with the delivery of a Schimmel Grand Piano from Forsyth Music Shop.

We are grateful to the Vinehill Trust, The Finzi Trust, and to Sir Harold Hood’s Charitable Trust, for their generous support in enabling us to purchase this instrument for use in the Cathedral Song School.

The piano was blessed for use by Canon Michael Jones on Thursday 18 December 2025 in the company of members of our Cathedral Junior & Senior Choirs.
