So very grateful to this team who have run the food pantry in our village, in various places over the 5 years since we set it up. You have been brilliant. Also very grateful to Hillers for their generosity in providing fresh produce weekly, thank you to Michelle (pictured) who has been our key contact. The pantry is no longer opening regularly on weds but anyone in need is still welcome to contact Rev Sheila who can arrange some emergency support.

Exciting news: we have a new ‘creative wellbeing’ group beginning Tuesday 1st September 😊

🛑 The Church building is closed this week 🛑
We are having a new heating system installed and therefore there is no public access inside.

✅ You are still welcome to visit our Churchyard

⛪️ Our service this Sunday 9th will not be affected (as the work will be completed by the weekend)

Our third summer holiday activity was to visit Piddle Brook Farm Pick Your Own.

🌹 The children and families enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the beautiful flower field whilst learning about local farming.
🌱 We saw pumpkins growing, touched wheat, barley and wool and enjoyed going on a treasure hunt in the flowers.
🚜 We heard about old and new tractors and had the chance to sit on the old red one. A few of our younger children were fascinated about how it would have worked and asked lots of questions about it.
🧺 We found some shade for our picnics and were delighted to be able to take a sunflower stem home.
🥰 It was a superb visit, connecting us to a local farm that has a heart for our village community.
