Join us outdoors tomorrow...

Church outdoors tomorrow. Come anytime between 10-12. Follow the self guided journey through the woods to discover the story of Zaccheus. With activities to make a mini matchbox house, with people and small things. And we’ve heard this woods grows lego people! You’ll find us in the bowling green on the right as you enter Dartmouth Drive. Then there’ll be refreshments available to buy from the ‘Angel Caravan’ on the scout hut car park with seating and the play area for children, for some socially distanced catching up. Hopefully the rain will have disappeared! Come for as long or short as you like.

This is a retreat at hone open to anyone to join - follow the instructions in the post.

Amidst the restrictions of life at the moment you are invited to join us on a 14 day retreat at home; prepared and led by Rev Chris Daniel. You can fit this retreat into as much or as little time as you have available at the moment. Each day there will be bible verses to focus on and a variety of experiences of different styles of prayer to try. You will join a WhatsApp community of fellow travellers to journey together with your experiences and questions as together we take time to put down deep roots of prayer to listen to God, present with us now. You don’t need any previous experience or knowledge and no particular equipment. You can choose the best way for you to engage with the journey and plenty of ideas and guidance will be offered. Day one on Monday will be our chance to prepare and get ready so all you need to do is sign up. Email [email protected] with your name and the mobile phone number you would like to be added to the WhatsApp group. We’ll send you all the details you need about how the group will work and ask you to introduce yourself to the group when we begin. As roots grow down in the dark to support the shoots of new life and creation of beautiful leaves, flowers and fruit, you are invited to put down roots in this dark time as preparation for the future to come.
