What a great morning spreading the wildflower seeds on the church field - thanks to all the people who turned up to help. This was in addition to all the other volunteers helping inside the Church and in the Churchyard.
We are truly blessed having so many kind and generous people in our parish.

We are delighted that we have had lots of new visitors to see the exciting changes we have made to our field - including an orchard of fruit trees, copses and a total of 620 trees planted with the help of Eccleston Mere Primary school. If you have not visited yet, do go along and walk the paths made by our own 'one man went to mow' Mike Horton. Within the next week we will be preparing the ground for wild flowers which will increase biodiversity by attracting lots of butterflies, bees and insects.

Exciting news for Church St Helens!
Revd Cathie Higgins has been appointed Team Vicar with pastoral responsibility for Christ Church and St Thomas’ Eccleston. Please keep her in your prayers as she begins this next chapter of ministry.
We also wish Father Harry every blessing as he moves to the vocations team – he will still be part of our community and lead worship from time to time.
More details of Cathie’s licensing date will be shared soon.

Thank you to everyone who came to our Christmas Crib Sevice this afternoon. What a great turnout. The children were brilliant at joining in. If you have any photos you'd be happy to post, we'd love to see them.
