Great for our church family to support one of our youth being baptised by Life Point church in Little Haven on Sunday afternoon surrounded by friends and family. What a special day!

We will continue to meet at Ty Pawb throughout August, with an informal time of prayer and fellowship. Keep an eye out for our summer barbecue date.

On Sunday afternoon we had a wonderful gathering outside at Ty Pawb where we listen and prayed, and then took communion together. This was one of the poems/prayers that was read out before communion. Full version below.

*We Cannot Pray*

We cannot pray
for the poor
if we walk by on the other side.

We cannot pray
for the hungry
and continue to waste our food.

We cannot pray
for the exploited
and buy the products that enslave them.

We cannot pray
for the persecuted
if we support the bully.

We cannot pray
for the unemployed
and still value only the lowest price.

God of forgiveness,
in this world of sin,
we dare not pray,
for we, ourselves, are ensnared in sin.
Forgive us,
that we cannot live lives without sin
that we cannot escape the systems of death
that we cannot change the world.
Forgive us.
Hear our prayers
and change us
to become part of the solution.

🙏🏻 for our first Outdoor Church of 2026! Good time together out in the fresh air with games and creative thinking about God’s creation and perfect Garden ( in Genesis).
