It was a pleasure to welcome four visitors from the Diocese of Cuttack, part of the Church of North India, to Mount Charles for lunch today. We served Cornish pasties and saffron cake (as well as fruit) which they seemed to enjoy. There was certainly very little left!
On leaving Mount Charles, they were taken on a brief tour of the China clay area and then of Mevagissey, finishing up with a Cornish cream tea (of course).

30 children and their families enjoyed a very messy church last week. We made salt dough, cake candles, light houses, salt painting and explored lights in the dark tent. We then watched a story about how Jesus is the light of the world and sang about how we can be a light in our world too. Lastly we enjoyed a yummy tea of make your own wraps. Thank you to all that helped. Our next messy church is on Thursday 21st May.

Mount Charles Women’s Fellowship welcomed some unusual guests this afternoon. Although they didn’t join in the singing, they were very friendly and well-behaved, and seemed to enjoy their visit.
Mount Charles Women’s Fellowship meets every Wednesday at 2.30pm. We enjoy a varied programme of talks and demonstrations, and are always delighted to welcome new comers.
