The Alpha course is a great way to explore the basics of the Christian faith with others. Anyone is welcome, we have a meal together, then we watch a video, and then we have a chat about it.

We're screening the People's Emergency Briefing at St Luke's on Wednesday 9th September.

It's a 50 minute film that talks about what is happening with the climate and nature and what it means for everyday life in the UK. It brings together nine leading UK scientists and experts with the latest evidence and why it matters for things like extreme weather, food security, health and the cost of living.

After the film there will be an open discussion about what it means for our community and what we can do locally.

We're aware some of the social things we do aren't always accessible to our older folk and our little ones, as they happen in the evening, so we got a multi-generational team together at St Luke's to come up with an idea for a social anyone could join in with and enjoy. So afternoon of 26th September, we're doing a whole afternoon of activities together that anyone can take part in, young or old, introvert or extravert. With a bring and share meal.
