The Tudor Fayre went off with a bang 💥

Enormous thanks to everyone who arranged flowers, baked cakes, fired muskets, put up gazebi, roasted hogs, sang madrigals, danced like it was 1589, acted, tombola-ed, dressed up, and and and...

You don't have to wait long for our next Bacon400 event! All welcome to tomorrow's celebration of Holy Communion at 9. 30, using the exact order of service Francis Bacon would have known, with music from the Tudor period from our wonderful choir.

Great to be collaborating with the The Lower Red Lion the Three Brewers, St Michael's C of E primary, Herts Early Dancers, loads of local business, and the stars of the show, the Suffolk Free Company who are bringing the Tudor period to life like you've never seen before!

Also our friends at OVO theatre who are performing scenes from their upcoming show 'The Winding Stair' all about Francis Bacon's life. Tickets bookable on their website, with performances spread throughout St Michael's village.

Big shout out too to the Flower Power team who are transforming St Michael's Church into a Tudor flower extravaganza! 🌷🌸🌹🌺🏵️
