Refugee week 15 - 21 June 2026
‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself’. Matthew 22.39.
Churches Together’ in Ryton is doing an act of kindness for the women detained in Derwentside Immigration Removal Centre, Medomsley. If you could provide any toiletries, underwear or a small gift of encouragement for these ladies, you are welcome to place your item in the Refugee Care Box we have at Holy Spirit Church in Crawcrook.
Suggested Items include: EAR PLUGS, LIP BALM, EYE MASKS, DEODORANT, SHOWER GEL, FACE CLOTH, BODY LOTION, SOCKS, HAND CREAM, NOTEBOOK, PEN (Not shampoo, aerosols or anything in glass containers please).
