Just a reminder, there will be no service at St Thomas Camber tomorrow (Sunday 23rd August )
Our next service at Camber will be Sunday August 30th at 9am
There will be no service at Camber on Sunday 6th September, instead there will be a service at St Mary’s East Guldeford, the service starts at 10.30am

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the young life so tragically lost whilst visiting Camber Beach and to all of the emergency services who responded.

we will be holding a Rye Team Lammas Service, at St Mary’s East Guldeford
led by
Reverend Jacques Desrosiers where we celebrate the first harvest of wheat by blessing a locally baked loaf of bread, in a tradition predating the Norman Conquest.
Choral anthems by Martin Bruce and FourScore and a solo piece by Leslie Moore

Refreshments will be served after the service

New service times for the Summer Months of July and August 2026

In July and August, services at Camber will be at an earlier time of 9 am, except for

the Bank Holiday Weekend in August (Aug. 30th) when the time of the service will be at 8.30 am.

(Please note: No services at Camber on the first Sunday of the month.)

Just to remind everyone that during the busy Summer months at Camber, our Sunday service will move forward to 9am start and to allow everyone to get out of Camber traffic and back home again, we will not be doing coffee after the service.

The new times will only be during the very busy Holiday traffic season.
