We're amazed at the skill of the craftspeople who will be attending our Llanelidan Craft Fair on 19th September. 😍

Scroll through the images for just a few examples. These crafts are created by Roni’s art, Andrew Sumner, Vicky at Coedwig Crafts (https://www.coedwigcrafts.com/), and Becky at Keeper's Crafts.

And there will be many more talented craftspeople to join them on the day, selling their needle-felting, wood-turning, wreaths, candles, homemade chocolates, artwork, cards, silver jewellery and crochet.

Isn't this beautiful? 😍 Leaf will be running a free gelli printing art workshop during our Craft Fair on 19th Sept (11am-3pm). This is a piece of art she's created using this technique. Why not come along and give it a go? 🙂 (Suitable for all the family.)

A DATE FOR YOUR DIARY!

The Llanelidan Craft Fair will be taking place in the church and village hall on 19th September. This will be a great opportunity to buy a few early Christmas presents for friends and family.

We'll have a wonderful array of crafts on sale made by some very talented craftspeople:

wood-turning, needle-felting, pyrography and willow-weaving, homemade chocolates and fudge, silver jewellery, ceramic sculptures, crocheting and knitting, books, wreaths and bunting, candles, dried flowers, and engraved slate.

You should be able to find some really special gifts, all made by local craftspeople. Come along and have a look!

There will be tea and cake, a drop-in art workshop, and historical tours of the church.

We can't wait to see you! 😊

If you're visiting the church, you'll notice a small plaque made of wood with a Welsh inscription on it. We believe this plaque used to be in the chapel in Llanelidan, but it was kept safe by a member of the community. Recently, it was kindly donated to St Elidan's Church.

We believe the Bible verse inscribed on the plaque is Deuteronomy 4:24:

"For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God."

We're very excited about our Craft Fair next month! We'll have some very talented craftspeople selling their work - from wood-turning and jewellery to wreaths and crochet.

Andrew Sumner will be selling copies of his book 'St Elidan's Church and the Village of Llanelidan' and he'll be giving historical tours of the church and churchyard.

There will be a drop-in art workshop for all the family.

And, of course, there will be tea and cake! 😊
