Just under 100 people gathered in Overtoun Park for the Rutherglen Churches' 'Praise in the Park' event. Thankfully it remained dry and the singing of both traditional and new hymns was ably led by the Salvation Army, Rev Neil Watson and Fr Stephen Reilly.
A big thank you to all who helped organise this event as well as all who came along.

We were delighted to once again host the Rotary Club's annual Plant Sale. The event was a huge success with nearly all the plants sold within the first hour. The funds raised will be used by the Rotary Club to support good causes with the community. Well done to everyone involved.

Please feel free to bring a folding chair and a packed lunch for your comfort 🪑🥪

🌧️ In case of unsuitable weather, the gathering will move to Rutherglen United Reformed Church, 69 Johnstone Drive, G73 2QG

🚻 Toilets will be available courtesy of Overtoun Park Bowling Club

If you haven't already saved the date, please join us at our Community Cafe in Rutherglen United Reformed Church this Wednesday from 10am - 12pm. This week the Rotary Club of Rutherglen, Scotland will be giving a presentation to the students of Glasgow Clyde College supported education department for all their hard work over the previous few months. As always, fabulous cakes, coffee and a range of tea. See you on Wednesday!

Save the date: Wed 27 May. Our cafe is back, and we hope to have as many people along as possible! The students will be busy making their very popular cakes in the run up to the event, and as always the coffee will be brewing.
