A huge thank you to Dawn and Grace from Alzheimer's Society West Sussex for coming along this afternoon to St Peter and St Paul Rustington to deliver dementia awareness training for our church volunteers, including those who support the Pantry, visit care homes, and offer pastoral care across the parish.

The session was brilliant: practical, clear, and genuinely confidence‑building. This kind of awareness reduces stigma and helps communities become more supportive. Everyone should do it!

It was great to have our vicar, Rev. Natalie Bawcutt, with us as we reflected on how we can keep growing a church community where people are understood, included, and treated with dignity.

A huge thank you to Establo Lounge in Rustington!

This afternoon, Pauline – one of our amazing volunteers – collected £275 from Establo Lounge for St. Peter and St. Paul Pantry. This generous donation will help to cover the cost of food for this week’s Pantry, helping us provide essential staples for breakfast and a main meal to around 70 local households who are struggling financially.

We couldn’t do this without Establo’s incredible support. Their weekly Wednesday quizzes make a massive difference, and we’re so grateful to everyone who takes part.

Since July 2025, Establo Lounge has raised an incredible £2,099 for the Pantry! This funding is vital to ensure that every visitor, whether first or last in the queue, goes home with food.

And it doesn’t stop there – Establo also organises other amazing fundraising events, including charity football matches thanks to the brilliant efforts of Lee and the team.
