Hope Methodist Church

Hope Methodist Church A local Church for all and open to all. We are Hope Methodist Church. We are all ages, all backgrounds and all learning more about God's Love for us.

We meet in a temporary building on Linnetts Lane, Higham Ferrers whilst we begin the second phase of our rebuilding plan. We have services every Sunday at 10.30 am. There's Junior Church for children and young people and All-Age Worship usually on the second Sunday of the month. We have a range weekly groups that meet in a variety of locations. These include choir, keep-fit, lunches, children's activities, Girls Brigade and lots more.

This Sunday (7th May) we are joined by Deacon Sylvia from Wellingborough to lead our worship. Activities for children and young people are available too. All welcome.

Over the summer holidays, we are planning a week of activities for all ages in our community. Hope is a church for all the community and that means everyone. We would love to hear from you what kinds of events you would like to see happening. You can message us on here or via our website. More details will be posted soon so watch this space!

This Sunday (30th April) we welcome Brian from Irthlingborough to lead our worship. The service will also include the baptism of Grace which will be led by Rev Shirley. All are welcome and we hope to see you there.

Pictures from our march of witness this morning. We had a play featuring the giant puppets who told the story of the unforgiving servant. We are reminded today that forgiveness frees us from the chains of bitterness and that Christ's death offers forgiveness for all.

Our last event of Good Friday is a service at 7pm. All are welcome.

Good Friday afternoon sees us joining together for a vigil to reflect on the events of the first Good Friday. You can stay for a few minutes or the whole time - whatever suits you. There will be music, prayer, readings and symbols to reflect on. The church will be open from 2pm until 5pm and all are welcome.

Today is Good Friday. We will be joining with all churches in Higham Ferrers and Rushden for a march of witness. We are meeting at the Salvation Army in Rushden at 10.15am and then marching to the Independant Wesleyan Church on the High Street. An short service will follow including the giant puppets. All are very welcome.

Today is Maunday Thursday and we have a service of reflection at Irthlingborough Methodist Church at 7pm. It is a cafe style service and will be a multi-sensory service. All very welcome.

Tonight, our Circuit Choir will be performing 'Olivet to Calvary' at Earls Barton Methodist Church, The performance starts at 7.30pm and all are welcome.

Our Easter Day celebrations start with Breakfast at 9am. All are welcome to start the day with us. Our service is at 10.30am and is led by Rev. Margaret. During the service we will be decorating our Lenten cross with flowers so please bring some with you if you can.
