On a wet Tuesday morning it's lovely to start making plans for the weekend...how about coming along to our friendly monthly coffee morning? Browse the stalls, savour a sausage roll or slice of cake and a nice cuppa but most of all enjoy the good company! Hope to see you there! :)

It's half-term this week so no Tots and Tiddlers. We will be back again with fun and friends, toys and toast on Thursday 4th June at the usual time of 9.30am to 11.30am. It's a great group for young children with their parents and carers. Do come and join us - all welcome 😁!

We had tongues of (crepe paper) fire over us as we worshiped today....and 🎂 cake ... as we celebrated Pentecost, sometimes known as the birthday of the church! It was a fun service with a serious message of hope and transformation.

This coming Thursday, 14th May at 7.30pm we will be hosting a joint service at St Peter's, with St Mary's and Whitefriars. Never heard of Ascension and wonder what it's all about? Come along to this friendly service and find out more! All welcome 😁! There will be refreshments afterwards. (The stained glass window is from our side chapel and the first panel gives a strong clue about ascension...look at the feet at the top!)

Lord,this morning we pray for all children starting their year 6 SATs, and young people sitting GCSE and A level exams. We ask that you will calm anxious minds and hearts, helping each person do their best, letting facts be recalled and questions understood. Let there be a chance to shine and a relief in finishing. We also pray for a good balance between work and play. Let them know how loved they are by you, and reassure all that you have good plans for each and every one of them, and us. Amen
