As we prepare to meet this Sunday we are aware that a gathering Christians at a festival in Sussex experienced a tragedy this weekend. Please pray for those affected by this. Please join us as we come together at 10.30am to worship and bring this and other issues to God in prayer.

The 41-year-old man who tragically died at the Big Church Festival has been named as Pastor Robert Guanco of Jesus Living Water Church in Eastbourne.

His church remembers him as a faithful servant of God, loving husband and devoted father.

We are being encouraged to pray for Pastor Robert’s family and loved ones as well as for the four people who remain in hospital receiving treatment for their injuries.🙏

We had a cleaning session at the church last night. We were doing all the jobs that only get done now and then but were long overdue. Thanks to all who came along and helped.

So sorry to hear of the passing of the wonderful Dolly Parton. She was not ashamed to say she was a believer in Christ or ashamed of who she was. She leaves us with a wealth of amazing songs and some wonderful memories.

This evening we are having a get together to have a barbecue at a church members house before the summer ends. Really looking forward to it and hopefully will post some photos soon. I'm hoping there aren't too many burnt offerings 🍔

These little crosses were handed out last Sunday. They are small enough to be held between you fingers and are rounded to make that easier. They have a heart in the middle to remind us that love was at the centre of what Jesus did for us. There are still some left so they are available to any who want one. Do come to the service tomorrow and pick one up.
