Operation Christmas Child time of year again. Take some time to fill a shoebox for a child who doesn't have as much as we do. Our friends at Hope Corner Community Church are a collection point again as well as The Entertainer toy shops. Find out more at samaritans-purse.org.uk including how to get a box packed for you if you aren't able to fill one yourself.

It might look like we've made a mess of the grass but daffodils bulbs have been planted. We are praying they flower in the spring and bring some colour at that wonderful time of year. Its good to have something to look forward to as the days start shortening and the weather gets colder. Still, it'll soon be Christmas!

All our toilets are 'twinned' and the photos of the twinned toilet are displayed above each one. Its a reminder not to take our wonderful plumbing for granted as many communities are grateful just to have a hole in the ground. Find out more at www.toilettwinning.org

I've just finished reading this book and recommend it. It is about recognising that we all express our worship in different ways and working out what kind of worshipper you are. It helps with finding opportunities to express your worship as its not just about going to church. Its on the bookshelf in the church if you want to borrow it.

Do join us for communion this morning at 10.30am. The bread and cup are symbols to the body and blood of Jesus - even gluten free bread counts! This is our way of remembering the sacrifice Jesus made for us. Find out what this is all about by joining with us today.
