A Prayer for Nepal 🇳🇵🙏
Heavenly Father, our hearts turn towards Nepal today. We grieve with every family who has lost someone, every child who has been displaced, and every community devastated by the floods. Lord, be close to the brokenhearted and bring comfort where the pain feels overwhelming.
We especially lift up Pastor Prem and our Victory Church family in Nepal. Surround them with Your protection, strengthen them, and use them as a light of hope and practical help within their communities.
Father, we pray for those who are stranded — make a way where there seems to be no way. Protect them until help reaches them. Strengthen the emergency services, rescue workers and volunteers, and clear the way for food, clean water, shelter, medicine and essential aid to reach every person in need.
We pray for the children who have been displaced and frightened. Hold them close, Lord. Bring them into places of safety and surround them with people who will protect and care for them.
We ask in Jesus’ name for the waters to recede, for further destruction to be prevented and for communities to be protected.
Your Word declares, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way.” — Psalm 46:1–2
Lord, where there is devastation, bring restoration. Where there is grief, bring comfort. Where there is fear, bring peace. Where people feel lost and overwhelmed, let hope rise again.
We declare that Nepal is not forgotten. God is present in the devastation, He is near to those who mourn, and He remains their refuge and strength.
May mercy flow, may help arrive, may hope arise, and may Your presence surround Nepal.
