St. Augustine's Rugeley

Thank you to everyone who entered a tree or who visited our Christmas tree festival at St. Augustine's church over the last nine days. Your support was really appreciated. We hope to see many of you again at our Stable Trail this coming Saturday (7th) starts 10.00am throughout the day (SEN session 3.00pm).

The winning trees in our fun competition were -
Youth organisation - 2nd Rugeley cubs/the Grinch
Adult organisation - Lea hall flower club/frozen
Charity - Rugeley welfare for dogs
Business - Brewery street arcade
School - joint first Chancel primary school/Elf
Hart school/Wonderful life

Well done everyone, another great event for Rugeley.

THIS SATURDAY!

7th December Stable Trail from 10.00am till 12.00 and 1.00 till 2.30pm.

SEN session will be held at 3.00pm.

It is a family time to enjoy the journey of the Christmas Story. There is disability access. Crafts and Refreshments will be available. There is also going to be a Tombola. WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!

Join us on Sunday 10th November, for this year's Remembrance Day activities, in partnership with the Royal British Legion (RBL). We will honour and remember those who served.

As council here, we gather strong,
To honour those who fought so long,
With courage bright, they faced the night,
Their spirits soar, forever near,
In memory, we hold them dear.

Very much looking forward to our latest event featuring Lesley Smith perform as latest character Florence Nightingale on Tuesday 22nd October at the historic St. Augustines Church , Rugeley.

Following on from the success of last year's Christmas Tree Festival at St Augustine's Church, Rugeley we are extending the invite once again to our local community to join us!

It is £5 per entry and this year we have the optional theme of 'a night at this movies' , this is a great opportunity to decorate a tree and advertise your company or organisation in church from 26th November - 4th December we have a large amount of visitors during this time who will vote for their favourite tree, posters or business cards can be left around the tree. All funds go to the church.

Pre bookable afternoon tea, refreshments and crafts will also be available.
