Lovely morning at toddler group. 27 children, including new ones.
They all seem to have a great time and enjoyed the singing.
Great to see them all doing the 'hokey kokey' and joining in with 'God Bless you, God Bless me''
A busy but great morning !

Thank you to Major Catherine for conducting the meeting this morning. Her topic was a mighty saviour - Daniel, David and Gideon were her illustrations. Lots of singing and flag waving and timbrel playing.
The Sunday School's story was about Nehemiah and rebuilding of Jerusalem's Wall. They enjoyed building the wall out of Duplo bricks.
It was good to see people joining us who hadn't been for some time.

29/05/2026

Over 40 people joining us again for warm welcome, including two little ones, who enjoyed running around.
Jacket potatoes, rolls, sandwiches and cakes were enjoyed and endless cups of tea and coffee
It was a lovely morning/afternoon

(The potatoes and beans are growing well in our community garden)

Thank you to our Divisional Leaders Majors Adrian and Clare Allman for conducting our Pentecost service this morning. Major Clare got us in the party spirit as we celebrated the birth of the Church, with balloons, sweets and cake (which we enjoyed after the service).
Major Adrian spoke about the fire of the Holy Spirit and for us all to be 'fired up'.
We are grateful to them both for their continued support to our corps.

Thank you to Major David Stephenson of Nuneaton Corps for conducting our morning meeting - his theme 'Ascension Day'.
We are grateful to Major David and others who have conducted our services over the past (almost) two years whilst we have been unofficered.

45 at our warm welcome today, including children. It was the funeral of one of our Cameo/lunch club members Gill Warman yesterday, so we thought about her today and also her two sons. Robert comes to warm welcome most weeks.
It was a good morning - with a great atmosphere.

Thank you to Janet for conducting our meeting this morning. Lots of singing and a chorus time ! The Singing Group sang 'Breathe and Be Still' which was really lovely.
A few people missing because of coughs and colds, but it was lovely to share in fellowship with one another and also with tea/coffee and cake after the meeting.

There were over 40 people at our warm welcome today. Great atmosphere. Some doing jigsaw puzzles, craft, macrame or just sitting chatting. Jacket potatoes/rolls/cakes and lots of cups of tea/coffee were enjoyed !
Our community garden is starting to look lovely with pansies, geraniums and the seeds starting to grow, together with sunflowers and Lavender and potatoes !

Thank you to CSM Ian for conducting our worship this morning. We had lots of singing. It was good too, to hear personal testimonies from Majors Catherine and Kevin.
In Sunday School the children learned about 'The Heavenly Banquet.
We shared in fellowship after the meeting with tea/coffee and cake.

Well done to our Bandmaster Martin Lewis for taking part in the sponsored Welsh 3000 to raise funds to Support Rees Foundation and ALTEN UK to 'Rise for Rees' to help Care Experienced People achieve their potential and build brighter futures. This cause is personal to Martin as members of his own family grew up in care.
He has raised over £1,000 so far for this.
He was suffering a bit yesterday but 'all for a good cause'.
If you would like to sponsor him, the link is below - thank you

I’m taking part in the Welsh 3000 to raise funds for Rees. This cause is personal to me as members of my own family grew up in care. Thanks
