Bible Study (on line) Every Wednesday at 6.00 -7.00 p.m. (Contact us for further information.) Wednesday 7.30 - 8.30 pm. Singing Group Practice

Friday : Warm Welcome 10.00 a.m. - 2.30 p.m. . Coffee/tea, chat, craft , games, and lots more. Light lunches available at 12.15 (free of charge). Donations welcome

We will celebrate the life of Rosemary Trinder on Thursday 19th November at The Salvation Army, Bennfield Road, Rugby at 12 noon. This will be followed by a service at Rainsbrook Crematorium, Ashlawn Road at 1.30 pm

Rugby Corps are sad to announce the Promotion to Glory of Rosemary Trinder (nee Cuell). Rosemary was 'number one' on the roll and a much loved member of our corps.
Please keep David and the rest of her family in your prayers.

Thank you to Major Catherine for conducting our meeting this morning (at quite short notice, due to unforeseen circumstances) . We had a fresh look at Zacchaeus - a story we all know from Sunday School days, but good to hear more about it.
We shared in fellowship after the service with tea/coffee and cake.

Our toddler group is going well. Six children left in July, but we have had more join us. We have some lovely comments about our group, a lot of people coming along 'by word of mouth'.
We have a lovely team of 'Red Tops' who work hard.
Lucas (our COs' little boy) has settled happily in our group and enjoys running around afterwards 'tidying up'.
It was good to see Captain Richard Weston yesterday who came into the hall whilst snack time was on ! (at a quieter time).
Keep the group in your prayers - a lot of our corps folk do not see these little people but they are part of our corps.

Thank you to Captain Emily for conducting our meeting this morning. Her theme was 'Two Trees' + Two Roots = Abiding in Christ'. One tree deep rooted which stood on its own and the Redwood tree which is very large but has shallow roots interlocking with other Redwood trees. (both shown on photos on the screen)
The Bible readings being from Jeremiah 17 : 5-8 and John 15 : 1-12.
It was a lovely meeting - we shared in fellowship after the service with tea/coffee and cake.

Thank you to Captain Emily for conducting our meeting this morning. Her theme was '‘Where is God using you today? The Singing Group sang 'My Lord and Majesty' and in Sunday School the children made a thank you tree.
After the meeting we shared in a lovely lunch of cottage pie, veg and apple crumble and cream or ice cream. We thank Sarah and Vikki for working so hard in the kitchen.

Thank you to Captain Dean for conducting our meeting this morning. His theme was 'The Call to Holiness. We had a quiz 'Would you rather' which caused some hilarity. We also sang the chorus 'The Way its gonna be' - with Julie, Gill, Catherine, Janet and Emily standing at the front doing the actions (You had to be there to see it 😀)
We enjoyed fellowship after the service with tea/coffee and cake

It is lovely seeing Lucas waving the army flag when we are singing!
