REVIVAL NIGHTS - STARTING THURSDAY 4TH JUNE | ONE REGENT STREET | 7:30PM

As part of Revive Rugby, we're opening the doors of One Regent Street for an evening of prayer and worship for our town. This is an invitation to all the churches across Rugby, and we'll continue to gather on the first Thursday of every month from 7:30pm.

We're looking forward to all that's ahead and would encourage you to be part of what's happening. God is good, He has great plans, and prayer will lead the way in bringing His Kingdom to Rugby.

Back in 2020, at the height of Lockdown, a new Prayer movement started. Called "Lectio 365" it united Christians every day in prayer using am online phone app.

Rugby Baptist church joined this movement and every morning at 9am a group meets on Zoom to use the app together to pray the morning prayers.

That is 2189 days of meeting for prayer so far.

You can join that group any day using the link on MyChurchsuite.

But many more people use the app privately. Every day an estimated 330,000 people unite in prayer using the Lectio365 App. There are prayers for the morning, midday and the evening.

On Thursday, Lectio365 is six years old. Why not celebrate by joining the church group any morning in prayer, or by downloading the App (available for Apple or Android phones) and give it a try?

Yesterday we saw the boys and young men of 1st Rugby Boys Brigade receive their badges and awards at the annual BB display. Each section shared a few things things that they had done over the year and Mick shared a devotional. The awards presents are given in recognition of the hard work, commitment and enthusiasm shown by the boys and young men. Well done!

Thank you to everyone who joined the Big Help Out on bank holiday Monday at Northlands Primary School and to the people who prepared and served the workers lunch. You all did a great job gardening, jet washing, cleaning and tidying. 🪴🍂🪣

The next coffee morning is being organised by Bloom on 2nd May. There will be sweet and savoury delights. All money raised will go towards a new off road wheelchair for Nathan who is one of our young adults at RBC. If you are unable to join us but would still like to make a donation please click the link in the comments.
