Therfield Chapel

Therfield Chapel Join us at 10.30am every Sunday. All are welcome to come and check us out regardless of baggage or beliefs.

We’re an independent evangelical church made up of varying ages and backgrounds from the surrounding towns and villages who are seeking to know and follow Jesus, and to help others do the same. Our service begins at 10.30am but our doors are open from 10am every Sunday for coffee and light breakfast snacks followed by music, prayers and praise. We then seek to faithfully, boldly and intelligently

teach the Bible in a way that honours Jesus and helps people know and follow him. We have provision for children during the talk where children aged 0-10 are welcome to join our youth leaders for bible-based games and crafts. Please keep an eye out on social media for any more information on our weekly events as well as via our newsletter. Our services are also live streamed live on this page. If you 'like' or 'follow' us, you should receive a notification when we are about to go live. You do not need a Facebook account to view the service. The whole service is then posted on Facebook to be viewed again at a later time if you wish as well as on YouTube.

As summer draws to a close we may look back with longing, seeking the good life. We’re all looking for the good life, but it can be easy to miss because Jesus says the good life differs to our expectations. Join us this Sunday at Therfield Chapel as we explore the fullness of life that Jesus brings.

Perhaps today is the time to stop running. To turn from doing things your way and call out to God, accepting His offer of salvation through the Lord Jesus, vowing to follow Him the rest of your days?

Jonah shows us the God of power and of grace it’s a striking picture the question for all of us is: How will we respond?

What if the place you feel furthest from God is actually where He is calling you back to Him?

Even when we run from God and find ourselves in dark, overwhelming places, we are never beyond His reach. God meets us in the depths, restores what is broken, and in His mercy calls us forward again. His grace is deeper than our mistakes.

Join us this morning as we explore Jonah 1 together.

Jesus teaches us to pray to a Father who is not distant or uncaring, but one at work in our world.

We’re invited into relationship with him — to put his name first, pray for his kingdom to come, trust him for our daily needs, receive and give forgiveness, and ask for his protection.

The Lord’s Prayer reminds us that God cares for our spiritual, mental and physical needs — and that prayer is not simply a shopping list, but an invitation to know and trust our Father.
