Congratulations to John and Carolyn on their engagement! Yesterday we shared a delicious cake for dessert. Lots of crafts were completed, including storms in bottles, decorated cakes, and books to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the first English translation of the New Testament. The worship section was full of fun and energy, and the Bible story was about Jesus calming the storm.

2 requests:
(1) If any of the dads out there can help us on Monday morning at 10am, moving plants into the park, we would be very grateful. The meeting place is in Fish Hill, outside the park gates and down a bit towards Days bakers.
(2) Can you provide a cake or small cakes for our stall at the May Fayre? We will be selling home-made cakes and preserves, and home-grown plants, in aid of church funds, including our family groups - First Friends, Messy Church, and Holiday Club. If you can please bring them to the stall in Priory Gardens on the day, Monday May 4th from 11am or throughout the afternoon. The Fayre is open from 12noon until 4.30pm.
(3) OR, just come and say hello and maybe buy a cake or a lovely home grown plant.
Thank You!

Sunday 19th April - 3 to 5pm in Queens Road, Royston
John Hardwick asks: "Have I Got Awesome Good News For You?"
Imagine, just after Easter, a newspaper columnist reporting on the 'Road to Emmaus Story' - when the two disciples race back with the Good News that they had met Jesus and he was alive!
Come and join us for lots of fun activities for everyone which will involve roads maps, megaphones, newspapers and ID cards.
We finish with a meal for all.
