Time flies when you’re enjoying yourselves!

Some of our lovely little regulars at Little Fishes Toddler Group will be with us for their last session this Monday morning, 9-11 in the Church Centre.
After 4 years with us, they are off to start school in September. We shall miss them!

After this week we take a break as the term ends, and look forward to seeing the return of regular and new families when schools go back in September.

BABIES - TOTS - TOYS - CLOTHES- PLAY
Baby clothes, toys and equipment are often grown out of very rapidly. And
we are all aware of the wisdom of recycling resources where we can these
days.

At Little Fishes Toddler Group we have adapted to this with a ‘Free to a
Good Home’ corner, where families bring good quality baby/toddler clothes
and toys they no longer need, which are then available to anyone who can
use them.

We’re planning on bringing the existing stock to the Village Fair on
Saturday.

If you’re interested - please pop in and see if there are pre loved clothes
you or a friend could use.

If you have been having a sort out yourselves and would like to see your
baby/preschool clothes or small toys recycled in the community please feel
free to bring modest amounts to the stall on Saturday.

(Just bear in mind we have limited space both on the stall and in the
church centre - any larger items which don’t get taken would need to be
reclaimed at the end of the fair)

Come and say hello anyway - there’ll be a chair if you want to sit down to
feed your baby, and a few FUN activities for younger children.

Month of Prayer
It's June, and that means it's the national month of prayer for Toddler Groups.

Becca Chamberlain of the Portsmouth Diocese recently organised a zoom training session to encourage us in this ministry, which supports families, community, enourages friendships amongst parents as well as children, and gives opportunities to share the Good News with people who might not otherwise be visiting churches.

We also learned how much what we do on Toddler groups helps prepare little ones for school.

So do join the nation in this Month of prayer for Toddler Groups. Especially on Monday mornings in term times, when Little Fishes meets between 9-11 am in term time
