Friends Of St. Lawrence Church We're a group of volunteers based in and around Rowhedge who carry out charity work, organise community events and promote local businesses.

Starting in 2011 as sub-committee of the PCC. We are dedicated to re-establishing St Lawrence Church as a centre of the Rowhedge community where the local people can enjoy social events and make new friends. We host numerous events throughout the year including regular, annual and one off functions. We regard the church building as an important historical landmark and part of our aim is to raise f

unds for the fabric and upkeep. If you have any enquirers please contact us and we'll get back to you asap.

🌅 Easter Sunday Dawn Prayers

As the first light of Easter morning breaks, we gather in stillness & hope to celebrate the resurrection of Christ. In the quiet darkness, a new fire is kindled - a symbol of light overcoming darkness. From this flame, the Paschal Candle is lit, reminding us that Christ is our eternal light. Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia!
