Living Water - it's a part of God's creation, pressured and polluted by people, and also with significance in the story of our faith.
Yesterday our family service focussed on the vision of life-giving water. We've got sermons, music and children's activities for the next few weeks - all focussing on water.

YouthZone celebrated Hope Weekend at St Cuthbert’s last weekend. After gardening around the Church, sweeping the pavement and litter picking, they ended Saturday with well-earned homemade pizzas and a water game! We are all very grateful for their hard work.

On Sunday we welcomed Bishop Pete to our morning service. He took delight in meeting everyone, especially the members of Youth Zone, and the congregation enjoyed the buns made for the service by them.

The Everyday Faith app has been looking at different anglo-saxon saints. For the last few days it's been about St Cuthbert. Take a look for yourself.

A great concert. We are thrilled to be able to send money to help improve the lives of children in Burundi in the heart of Africa.

Yesterday, I was delighted to join the serene setting of St Cuthbert's Church in Herringthorpe. The night was a charity event with the wonderful Friends in Harmony Choir.
Over a £1000 was raised to be split between the Anglican Church in Burundi and St Cuthberts
The warmly welcoming atmosphere and entertaining songs from the musicals was a perfect combination for a Saturday evening.
A huge thank you to everyone involved and and for your continued support for important work both locally and internationally.

On Tuesday we welcomed Claude and Israel, two ministers from the Anglican Church in Burundi, to our church for lunch, following their meeting with the Mayor. We heard all about their church and school, and how our support and fund-raising is helping the school children. Our guests were welcomed to a hymn sung by our church choir in their own language and were thrilled. It was a really special occasion for everyone and we look forward very much to the next as we continue our support.
