What a great day saying goodbye to Rev. Louise McInnes as she starts her new adventure as Vicar at the Cornerstone Benefice and Oversight Minister in the South Pennine Mission Area.

Parishioners from all three Churches got together to celebrate Louise's time in the Mission Area with a Bring and Share lunch.

We wish Louise all the best, lots of luck, and happiness in her new role✝️🤲🏻

May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May He guide your steps, strengthen your heart, and fill your life with peace.
May His grace surround you, His wisdom lead you, and His love remain with you always.

Amen✨️

This week is the start of Thy Kingdom Come; a global Christian prayer movement held each year between Ascension Day and Pentecost. It encourages Christians to pray for more people to come to know Jesus Christ and to be renewed by the Holy Spirit.

“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven."

Prayer journals are available to collect from Church: Wednesday after morning communion service or next Sunday.

Christian Aid Week
10th - 16th May

What is Christian Aid Week?
Christian Aid Week is a powerful expression of what can happen when compassion leads to action.

It's our shared moment to come together – across churches, communities and households – to stand alongside people living in poverty around the world.

For one week each year, thousands of people across Britain and Ireland give, fundraise, pray and act together. Together, those actions make change possible.

If you would like to donate, click the link below or call into Church to collect a gift aid envelope at Wednesday's morning communion service.
