Vision Sunday 6.9.26

The wider Liberty church vision is to plant a church in every major postcode in Rotherham. The heart is to bring in the lost.

At Thurcroft we are an ambassador of Christ. He saved us to also bring others from darkness to the light.

We have an outward focus here at Liberty Thurcroft. To reach the people of Thurcroft.

We keep up with the vision of the whole of the church, to raise up people to step into their calling.

We are an inward focus church also, raising up those who are part of Liberty Church Thurcroft. We want people to feel that they belong.

Sunday service 30.8.26

There was a beautiful, gentle presence of God this morning as we declared the goodness of God. No matter the circumstances, we stand firm to the truth that God is good all the time.

Today we were delighted to welcome James, from Liberty Church Swinton. He spoke to us about what he had learned from the 6 months of teaching at the Apostolic hub sessions. He spoke on 'The church as a house.'

Exodus 25:8-9

For I want the people of Israel to make me a sacred Temple where I can live among them.

“This home of mine shall be a tent pavilion—a Tabernacle. I will give you a drawing of the construction plan and the details of each furnishing

Ephesians 2:19-20

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens,[a] but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone.

At Liberty church Thurcroft we love to get together socially, so we can grow close and build strong, lasting friendships.

We had the cinema all to ourselves today as we enjoyed watching the film David, by Angel studios.

It's a good job we had the cinema to ourselves as we cried tears of joy as we were reminded how good our God is. We highly recommend this film, it was a beautiful reminder of the faithfulness of God.

Of course we had to discuss the film over a drink and cake!

Welcome to our 11am service

The WOW (Women Of the World) group met last night for our whole group meet up
We usually meet weekly in small groups to meditate on the word. Tonight we feasted on tasty treats as we chatted and enjoyed building strong bonds as a church family. We prayed for one another and for our WOW group for the coming months.

WOW group is a time for women to connect, to build trusting friendships, to spiritually feed one another, so that we can all grow in spiritual maturity. We point one another to Jesus, so that we can be strong women of God, deeply routed in our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
