It’s always a pleasure to host the Centenary Project for their monthly Network Gatherings of children, youth and families ministers at St Lawrence in Tinsley as part of our heart to be a church which ‘blesses beyond our borders’.

It was a joy to gather again today for our monthly network meeting.

This month we welcomed Cathy and Sally from the Diocese Environment team, encouraging and challenging us to consider how we can be more environmentally friendly in planning our activities, and thinking about how we can involve the children and young people that we work with in caring for God’s creation.

Thankyou again to the The Rivers Team for hosting us.

We used a parachute to help us pray at St Mary’s this afternoon as we explored God’s call for the church to be an adventure community!

The Rivers Team was well represented at the Diocese of Sheffield Development Day at St Thomas, Crookes today. It was great to gather together with sisters and brothers in Christ from across the diocese for prayer, worship, bible study and inspiration from Leading your Church into Growth.
