End of Year Parents’ Evening

Alhamdulillah, we recently held our end-of-year Parents’ Evening, giving parents the opportunity to meet with our teachers and receive an update on their child’s progress in their Qur’anic studies and Islamic learning.

It was a valuable opportunity for our teachers to speak directly with parents, discuss how each child is progressing, highlight their strengths, and raise any areas of concern where necessary.

Here at M.I.C., we are committed to providing a strong foundation for every child on their journey of Islamic learning. We believe that parents play an essential role in this journey, and we want every parent to be actively involved in their child’s development — just as they are with their academic education.

Our aim is not simply to teach our children the Qur’an, but to nurture them with knowledge, understanding, good character and a strong connection to their Deen.

May Allah ﷻ grant us the vision, wisdom and understanding to provide the very best for our children, both in their Islamic education and their worldly education. May He make them a means of Sadaqah Jariyah for their parents and a source of goodness for the Ummah. Ameen. 🤲

Last Sunday, we held a fantastic youth-focused event entitled “The Devil’s Game & Deception.” Brothers and sisters attended from across Rotherham, Sheffield, Doncaster, Bradford, Leeds and Keighley for this highly anticipated talk delivered by our honoured guest, Shaykh Asrar Rashid.

The Shaykh addressed some of the most pressing challenges facing our society today, highlighting the many ways in which Shayṭan deceives people through subtle temptations, false promises, and modern-day distractions. Using practical, real-life examples, he reminded us of the importance of recognising these traps and remaining firmly attached to the guidance of Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.

We sincerely thank everyone who attended and contributed to making the evening such a success.

May Allah Almighty protect us all from the plots and deception of Shayṭan, keep our hearts firm upon the truth, and grant us steadfastness upon the Straight Path. Ameen
