Good morning everyone, we begin the day with the words of John O’Donohue on belonging.

May you listen to your longing to be free.

May the frame of your belonging be generous enough for your dreams.

May you arise this day with the voice of blessings whispering in your heart

May you find a harmony between your soul and your life

May the sanctuary of your soul never become haunted

May you know the eternal longing that lives at the heart of time

May there be kindness in your gaze as you look within

May you never place walls between the light and yourself

May you allow the wild beauty of the invisible world to gather you, mind you and embrace you into belonging.

Good morning everyone,

Help me Lord to recognise where I may be of service to others in Your Name and not become so busy that time with You and my loved ones disappears. Give me Your Spirit of wisdom and humility which also gives courage and strength to act justly.

Console those who are ill, support those who are caring for the vulnerable and bring peace of mind to those who are anxious. Amen.

Good morning everyone,

Lord help me to accept today as it is and not waste time wishing that today would be something else. I encounter you here and now sharing in my joys and giving consolation in my sorrows. Here and now is where I hear your call, your mission for me today. My constant, my rock is your love for me whatever today brings however I may feel. Let me not struggle against here and now but instead be attentive to the next step I can take and walk with you.

I am not my own but yours Lord. Use me as You know wisely how; put me to doing, put me to suffering. Let me be employed for you, or laid aside for you. May I be raised up for you or brought down low for you. Let me be full let me be empty. As I live this day I give my whole heart to your will, may my motives be to your order and approval.

So now God of glory, Father Son and Holy Spirit, I am yours I come to do your will.

Good morning everyone,

Lord bless the path ahead of me today. You never ask of me what I cannot do, may I trust you along the journey. Your strength will be with me, your perseverance will help me in my struggles and your patience will fuel me to cope with both successes and disappointments. Your gratitude will remind me to show appreciation to others, your graciousness will help me to be humble and may I not forget to give you thanks in all that I will experience today.

Good morning everyone,

May the healing grace of God touch the lives of those who suffer illness be it physical or mental and guide all who are caring for them.

May families feel the presence of God’s grace guiding them through the challenges they experience and appreciation for the blessings that come their way

May our schools be safe centres of formation of our children in their faith and growth into adulthood.

And may we remember that through thoughtfulness, patience, compassion and love towards one another, we will find through the Holy Spirit the pathway to God’s will.

Amen.
