Good morning everyone,

Lord be with me as I start the day, move my heart to seek you and my will to serve you. Help me walk along the path you call me to follow and not let my ego or fear persuade me to do otherwise. Deepen my awareness of your presence, help me to take care of my interior life and openly give reverence to you and charity, service and appreciation to my neighbour.

Amen.

God Bless us all,

Mgr. Desmond Sexton

O God, you are the companion along every journey made. Be with me today as I travel. May this day bring insights into the journey of my life and be blessed by your grace. Walk alongside all who journey and especially those who are forced to journey to unknown places, those taken captive or those fleeing war and persecution.

Be with all who long to return home in freedom, safety and hope. I pray in particular for those who wish to return to your holy sacraments and your Church but are afraid of the reception they might receive. Assure them of your mercy and love.

This is my prayer today in your holy name.

Amen.
