September is here.... this might fill you with excitement or challenges but it's time to settle into the term and new season.
Here at Romsey Methodist Church we have plenty coming up for all ages ... follow us to keep an eye open for all the details.
Tomorrow Tune Tots starts the month with a singing time 1.30 - 2pm.
If School aged children haven't started back yet, they would be more than welcome to join the babies and toddlers for this singing time focusing on Harvest.
Then 2-4pm Beacon cafe will provide play and refreshments.
All are welcome.

The final week of our Summer holiday activities and craft sessions.... join us this Wednesday afternoon or Friday morning.

We will be thinking about adventures as lots of you will be looking at starting back into routines or making new routines.

Do look at our Bounce into Term event and book your place if you would like to join us. See the church website for details.

Our sessions this week are all about exploring the wonders of things in the sky!

We know it is due to be another hot few days, so please stay safe if you are coming out.

We will be looking at the wonders of the night sky with this week seeing meteor showers and the solar eclipse.
( follow safety guidelines if you are going to try and see the eclipse)

Do come and join us for stories from 1.30 tomorrow and the crafts and activities start at 2pm.
Friday morning join us from 10am.

Tomorrow we look forward to our second week of school holiday fun.
With a water theme we have a variety of play and crafts suitable for all ages.
If you join us at 1.30, Julia will be leading us in half an hour of songs and rhymes all seaside themed. We hope you can join us either tomorrow afternoon or Friday morning. 💧💧⛱️🏖🪣💧💧🐠🦈🪼

Always good to be thinking and praying for young people.
Thank you to Genesis for this prayer for those young people facing exam results this summer.

Loving God,
We thank you for all our amazing young people who are awaiting their exam results, at whatever stage they are at.
Lord we pray that they get the grades they deserve and will know to seek you in their rejoicing.
Lord we also pray for those who may not quite get the results that they desire, but we pray that they know their grades do not define them, only your love does.
Lord we thank you for your patience and your guidance at these times.
Amen.

Let's Explore!!!!
Today is the first day of our summer holiday activity sessions.
On every Wednesday afternoon and Friday morning till the end of August.
Hopefully this tour gives you an idea of what to expect.

School holidays have started now and we look forward to welcoming families over the summer.... our Let's Explore sessions of crafts and games start next Wednesday and continue till the end of August. This morning Beacon cafe is open as usual and there are games and toys for families in the church space.

No formally led session like Tots Time on a Wednesday afternoon, but Friday mornings are a great place for families to come and play and connect during our Beacon Café time.
Open every Friday 10 - 12.
I'm usually here for a chat and to support play.

Tots time tomorrow afternoon will have space and time for stories 1.30 till 2pm.
Do come and join us for baby books, stories and play... any children not yet in school are welcome to come and explore, from babies to those starting school in September.

The hot weather seems to be staying but how appealing does a citrus tuff tray of play look.... we will have our own version to play tomorrow.
Cafe time will smell amazing with that on offer to play with! Refreshments from 2-4 so plenty of time to chat and connect whilst the children play.

As the end of term fast approaches, there is plenty for Families to come and join in with over the Summer at Romsey Methodist Church.

If your kids are school ages or not, we have plenty of games, toys and crafts for different ages. Starting on Wednesday 29th July every Wednesday afternoon and Friday Morning there will be plenty on for families.

Do spread the word so local families know. All free, with those who can make donations towards refreshments in the cafe and if you can support the crafts, it helps keeps these session available to all.
