The Feast of Christ the King, the last Sunday in October and XXII After Trinity, 27th October 2024
We welcomed our bishop, The Right Revd Damien Mead, to celebrate Mass and preach for us today.
After Mass the bishop tried parishioner Colin Rumens mobility scooter out, at Colin’s request because it is a bit of a tradition! The bishop said he could too readily get used to such a chariot!

Bishop Damien Mead will be with us this coming Sunday, the Feast of Christ the King (Trinity XXII) 27th October to celebrate Mass and Preach.

ACC Vision - Diocesan Novena 2024
Beginning Wednesday 26th June 2024 until Friday 5th July 2024

Intention: For the growth of our faith and holiness and and increase in the membership of our Diocese, and the Consecration of our Cathedral Church on 6th July 2024.

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen

OUR FATHER who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory,
forever and ever.
Amen.

HAIL, MARY, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

O ALMIGHTY and most merciful Father,
who, by the child bearing of blessed Mary
Ever-Virgin, hast revenged our ruin and
by the ministry of thy holy angels dost
ever succour and defend us: Keep, we
beseech thee, our Diocese under thy
continual help and protection; that we, ever
needful of thy grace, may bring forth for
thee the fruit of good works and the harvest
of souls; through Jesus Christ thy Son our
Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee in
the unity of the Holy Ghost, ever One God,
world without end.
Amen.

GLORY BE to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost,
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
World without end.
Amen.

The Right Reverend Damien Mead, Bishop Ordinary of the Diocese of the United Kingdom, Anglican Catholic Church, on behalf of the clergy and laity of the diocese, extends his deepest condolences to His Majesty King Charles III, and all the Royal Family, on the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Her late Majesty’s faithful service and devotion to duty to our Country and the Commonwealth, during her 70 years on the throne, will long be remembered with gratitude and thanksgiving. So too will the wonderful example of Christian faith and discipleship she manifested unstintingly during her entire life.

+Rest eternal grant unto thy faithful servant, Elizabeth, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon her. Amen.
