Part 2 of Reflections on: The Rise and Fall of Palestine

​Join us for an insightful evening as we delve into the reflections and lessons from Professor Norman G. Finkelstein’s powerful book, "The Rise and Fall of Palestine: A Personal Account of the Intifada Years."

​Led by Imam Syed Asad Ali, this halaqah will provide a critical look at the lived realities of Palestinians and the decades of struggle under occupation.

By examining this personal memoir of the Intifada years, we aim to better understand the present through the lens of history.

1️⃣ JUMU'AH APPEAL – UKIM HANDSWORTH ISLAMIC CENTRE

Today at Jumu’ah, there will be an appeal on behalf of UKIM Handsworth Islamic Centre for their masjid extension project.

The project aims to:
• Increase prayer space for men and women
• Modernise facilities
• Enhance services for the local community

They are seeking to raise £400,000 towards the project.

The appeal will be delivered by Maulana Sarfraz Madani (Former President of UKIM).

Please support generously according to your means. May Allah accept all contributions and make them a means of ongoing reward. Ameen.
