Have you ever received an invitation to a birthday party, a wedding, or a football match? 🎉 The best invitations are to unforgettable events with amazing people. Did you now that Jesus invites everyone who trusts in Him as their King and Rescuer 👑 to join Him one day in heaven?

At last Friday’s Good News Club 🌟 we began learning more about this exciting promise as we started exploring the beautifully illustrated book 📖 The Awesome Super Fantastic Forever Party. Written by Joni Eareckson Tada, this delightful book tells the story of Jesus ✝️ coming back to this world, bringing heaven with Him.

The boys and girls 👦👧 compared the world we live in with the beauty of heaven ✨. Later, they had fun playing outdoors ☀️ and caring for the plants in the garden 🌱. It was a wonderful afternoon of learning, fun, friendship 🤝, and fellowship 😊

What a wonderful day we had last Sunday celebrating our Children's Anniversary! ☀️🎉

After our morning service, everyone enjoyed a delicious barbecue with hot dogs, beef burgers, and bacon rolls. It was a fantastic opportunity to spend time together, catch up with friends, and enjoy fellowship as a church family.

The children and adults alike loved exploring the garden and spending time in our Creative Hwb, making it a truly special afternoon for all.

We are so thankful for our children and their families and the joy they bring to our church community! ❤️

Have you ever thought about who made the world? Who made me? Who is God?

Many people know about God, but don’t actually know Him personally. Yet the God who created the world, who created you and me, invites us to know Him. God has time for every single person. He is interested in you. In the busyness of this world, He has time for you.

This was part of the message given to us last Sunday morning as we celebrated our Children’s Anniversary, led by Andy Pitt of Emmanuel Evangelical Church. Andy reminded us that we were saying thank you to God for the children, youth and families - for everyone who has a connection with the church. As some of Youth read Psalm 136, we heard how the opening verses give thanks for who God is. Throughout the psalm we hear, “His love endures forever.”

The children from our Good News Club sang some action songs about Jesus’ love, and our Youth also sang about how awesome God is. Afterwards, we enjoyed a delicious BBQ in the chapel garden. More photos to follow!

🌟 Good News Club 🌟

In preparation for our Children’s Anniversary, last week we looked at Psalm 136 and were reminded of the wonderful truth that is repeated throughout the Psalm:

❤️ “His love endures forever!” ❤️

Together, we explored how God showed His love through creation, by rescuing His people, providing for their needs, and most importantly, by sending Jesus to be our Saviour.

The children enjoyed taking part in games, activities, and Bible learning as they discovered that while many things in life do not last forever, God’s love never changes and never ends.

📖 “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever.” – Psalm 136:1

We also enjoyed a lovely time of prayer and singing together in the chapel.

Thank you for your prayers and support for the children as they learn more about God’s amazing love.

✨ Another great night at Youth Club! ✨

We explored the theme “You Are Worth More Than You Could Ever Imagine” ❤️ encouraging one another and learning about our value in God’s eyes. We enjoyed learning new songs in the chapel 🎶🙏 table tennis 🏓 hot dogs 🌭 homemade chocolate cake 🍰 and plenty of fun and friendship. 😊

We will be continuing this theme tomorrow evening as we discover more about who God says we are and the value He places on each of us ✝️💕.

How are we meant to view church? What is our mindset? We don't have a manual but we do have the Bible. If Christ is our greatest desire, we can't wait to go to church and talk with others about Him. This was part of the message given to us last Sunday as we heard Evan Millership, of Caerwent Baptist Church, speak to us on Acts chapter 2.

☀️ We had a beautiful sunny afternoon for Good News Club before half term! We enjoyed taking club outside into the chapel garden, where the children had fun with games, enjoyed fruit snacks, spent time gardening, and shared a thoughtful time of prayer together.

Afterwards we looked at Ephesians 2:8-9 and talked about how special it is to receive gifts from people who love us. We then explored the greatest gift of all - God's gift of salvation, given to us by His grace.

It was a wonderful afternoon of fun, friendship, and learning from God's Word. 🌱❤️

Good News Club is back tomorrow, 3:30-5:00p.m. All primary school children are warmly welcome to join us.

How do we prepare ourselves to worship of God? Preparation of the soul for worship is all important. Joshua stood before God dressed in filthy garments, representing the sin and guilt of man. God very graciously and lovingly removed the garments and gave new garments for glory. Faith is the way to come to God.

We had a blessed afternoon at our last Youth Club! 🎉 Using Scripture Union Rooted Cards, we shared about the things we love most - from gaming 🎮 and reading 📚 to skiing ⛷️ - and exploring.

One especially meaningful moment came as a young person shared about his baptism, explaining what it means to him and why his faith matters so deeply. 💙

Some of our young people already know and love God, while others are curious and still exploring faith and life’s big questions - and that’s exactly what Youth Club is all about - a safe, welcoming space for everyone on their journey. ✨

There was plenty of fun too, with table tennis 🏓, Uno 🃏 and ice creams topped with everyone’s favourites. 🍦

Looking forward to meeting again this Monday 1st June.
