We had a blessed afternoon at our last Youth Club! ๐ŸŽ‰ Using Scripture Union Rooted Cards, we shared about the things we love most - from gaming ๐ŸŽฎ and reading ๐Ÿ“š to skiing โ›ท๏ธ - and exploring.

One especially meaningful moment came as a young person shared about his baptism, explaining what it means to him and why his faith matters so deeply. ๐Ÿ’™

Some of our young people already know and love God, while others are curious and still exploring faith and lifeโ€™s big questions - and thatโ€™s exactly what Youth Club is all about - a safe, welcoming space for everyone on their journey. โœจ

There was plenty of fun too, with table tennis ๐Ÿ“, Uno ๐Ÿƒ and ice creams topped with everyoneโ€™s favourites. ๐Ÿฆ

Looking forward to meeting again this Monday 1st June.

Where do you look for your strength? The world tells us we are strong and can handle things, that we should believe in ourselves and we can achieve. But Exodus chapter 15 shows us that when we realise we are weak and learn that the Lord is our strength, we have a changed perspective, going from panic to praise.

We had an amazing time at last week's Youth Club. We explored the difference between who people see on the outside and who we really are on the inside. Through games, reflection, encouragement, and honest conversations, our young people were reminded that they are deeply valued, fully known, and never alone in what they struggle with.

One of our biggest takeaways from the night - thereโ€™s more to every person than what people see on the outside, noting that the Bible says, "People look at the outward appearance but the Lord looks at the heart."

We loved seeing friendships grow, confidence build, and young people encouraging each other. ๐ŸŒŸ We are excited to meet again today at 4:00 p.m. ๐Ÿ˜€

Who cares for you? This was a question given to us last Sunday morning as we listened to John Williams speak from 1 Peter 5:7

We don't know what's ahead - things come from nowhere, bringing a sense of unease. However, we can give our anxieties to God, leave them in His mighty hands. God's care is full of love and compassion.

We had a wonderfully sunny afternoon at Good News Club last Friday! ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒฟ

The children enjoyed fruit snacks together ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ‡, played games out in the garden ๐ŸŒป, took part in a great quiz to help remind us of the Bible story ๐Ÿ“–, and shared a lovely prayer time surrounded by Godโ€™s beautiful creation ๐Ÿ™โ˜€๏ธ

The Bible story was about Jacobโ€™s Ladder and the reconciliation between Jacob and Esau, reminding us that God is always with us and that forgiveness brings peace ๐Ÿ’› The children loved hearing about Jacobโ€™s dream of angels climbing the ladder to heaven and the joyful reunion between the two brothers.

We also practiced our memory verse from Ephesians 2:8โ€“9 and learned that Godโ€™s grace is a free gift given because He loves us so much.

Did you know that there are only two miracles recorded in all four gospels? We explored one of them last Sunday morning โ€“ a well-known miracle many of us have heard before โ€“ the feeding of the five thousand.

Our guest speaker was Phil Gleave of AIM Church, Warrington. As Phil spoke, fresh details brought the scene vividly to life: crowds gathered in the gentle warmth of the sun, sat on soft grass woven with wildflowers, listening to Jesus teach about the Kingdom of God.

Interestingly, none of the teaching on the Kingdom of God is recorded. Why? Because it's about the miracle that took place - showing how nothing is ever wasted when God provides and His people respond in obedience.

We had a lovely time at Good News Club yesterday afternoon ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŒฟ

We enjoyed fruit snacks in the garden ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ‡, followed by a fun game ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐ŸŽ‰ before exploring the story of Jacobโ€™s Ladder ๐Ÿชœโœจ. The story is a beautiful reminder that even when we make mistakes, God remains faithful and never leaves His children. ๐Ÿ™

It was so encouraging to see the children engaging so well with the quiz and memory verse ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ’ฌ, growing in both understanding and confidence ๐ŸŒฑโœจ. We finished with lots of play and laughter! ๐Ÿ˜„๐ŸŽˆ

We even got to celebrate a birthday too ๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽ‰

So thankful for these joyful afternoons together and the seeds of truth being planted in young hearts. ๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŒป
