New Lease of Life for the Bell at St Margaret's
Listen out on a Wednesday morning just before 10am and you will hear the newly restored bell of St Margaret's Church summoning worshippers to the service.
The bell has been out of action for a while, but thanks to the keenness of young Fin, work has been completed to get it ringing again, as it has done for the last 115 years.
Fin's offer of his own pocket money, with the help of a generous parishioner and Fr Mark Owen, have made the restoration possible.
Thanks are also due to Jefflyn Construction for carrying out the work with a minumum of fuss and disruption.
Come along to St Margaret's Family Open Day on Saturday 25th July if you would like to try your hand at bell ringing too!

A wonderful morning learning about ‘Rogation Sunday’, asking God for his blessing on the plants and seeds that are being sown . Thinking about all the wonders of the world around us and how we can all do our part to care for it . We potted our own plants to care for at home .
