St Mary's Church, North Stainley

St Mary's Church, North Stainley North Stainley's village church, St Mary's. Working out how best to love God and love our neighbours in our lovely village. Come & join us on that journey.

We are one of the Masham Group of Parishes. Our regular services are on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at 9.15am (usually followed by coffee and banter)

The church is usually open most days during daylight hours for visitors and private prayer. We are very proud supporters of our village church school, North Stainley C.E. Primary. Their 2016 church inspection rated them as outstanding. Our vicar has retired so please contact

Huge thanks to all the 19 people who came and helped with St Mary's Church, North Stainley Church and Churchyard clean up today! The brass and silver is gleaming, you could "eat your dinner off the boiler house and vestry floors" (not sure we want to!), yards (miles?) of ivy has been removed from walls and graves, weeds have been dug up and drains cleared. The workers were rewarded with bacon butties and hot drinks. Thanks everyone!
