Christ Church Chorleywood Our Parish Mission Statement: God’s Love: Know it; Show it; Share it; Declare it. Christ Church is a lively forward looking evangelical church.

We are committed to sound Bible teaching, to the empowering work of the Holy Spirit, to engaging with God in worship, and to building up relationships with God, and with one another. We are concerned about making the Christian faith understandable and relevant to those whom we serve, and to equipping people to serve God in the whole of our lives, and not just on a Sunday. ritage and welcome the many opportunities we have for reaching out into the community with the love of God. Our Parish Mission Statement: God’s Love: Know it; Show it; Share it; Declare it sums up all we try to do and be! There is great diversity in the services at Christ Church, ranging from a traditional Communion service to youth orientated informal evening worship. We have three services on Sunday, and lots of midweek groups for fellowship and discipleship catering for a wide range of styles, ages and tastes. Obviously the life of any Church cannot be understood or explained through a letter or webpage. Therefore I hope you will visit us to find out more about our life and fellowship.

Guest Speaker 🎙️

We are thrilled to be able to welcome Robby Keen from JENGA Uganda back this Sunday evening! He will come and speak to us at the 6pm, then afterwards there will be a gathering to find out more about a trip to Jenga early next year!

Robby is the co-founder and Executive Director of Jenga. Jenga is a charity that we partner with based in Uganda, they are “building relationships”, “building up people and their communities”, “building lasting bridges out of poverty”. They support people by looking out for their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellbeing whilst also enabling communities to flourish.

Detonate 2026 💥

We had an amazing time at Detonate this week where we welcomed over 300 children on site and focused on the theme of ‘Our journey with God’ with the memory verse being:

“Remember that I commanded you to be strong and brave. So don’t be afraid. The Lord your God will be with you everywhere you go.”
‭‭Joshua‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬ ‭ICB‬‬

We had an amazing team too who went above and beyond as always, and it’s always amazing to work together with other churches on amazing events like this!

It was also great to see Tom, our ministry trainee, get gunged, Matt, our Assistant Youth & Children’s Pastor almost get gunged, and a number of the youth involved with various games and teams!

Now to enjoy some rest! 😴

Wildfires 🔥

Our young adults had a great time at Wildfires Festival over the weekend! It was a wonderful time of community, learning, spending time in worship and teaching and praying for a move of the Holy Spirit and an awakening in the nation and in the world.

It was super exciting to hear about all God is doing in so many different places and through so many different churches and people!

Join us this Sunday evening at the 6pm for our Worship Night where we’ll come together for an extended time of worship, prayer and ministry. Jamie Cutting will be speaking on forgiveness.

We had a great time yesterday at our Outdoor Family Service & BBQ!

The sun did come out (even if some photos don’t look sunny!), we had an amazing time worshipping together as a whole church family, sharing food over a BBQ and enjoying fellowship together!

Think this starting XI to face Ghana tonight may be too good!

Jesus at the CENTRE, he can link up with his most BELOVED disciple and we have the ROCK at the hear of the defence - solid as always!

After the festivities of the England games tonight and Saturday, why not join us on Sunday to continue the celebrations!?

Join us this Sunday at any of our services as we celebrate Father’s Day - 8:30 // 10:30 // 6pm

At the 6pm we will have a special guest worship leader - Dunni from Mill End Baptist Church - join us and lead us in worship, do come along and join us!

David will be preaching at the 8:30 & 10:30 whilst Evangeline will be speaking at the 6pm.
