“Listen to him.”
That final instruction is uniquely at the heart of Matthew’s account. The Transfiguration is not merely a spectacular revelation of Christ’s glory; it is a summons to discipleship!

From Rickmansworth to Lourdes! ✨

Christ assures us that the grace of God transforms the apparent meagreness of our life: the miniscule mustard seed becomes a humongous bird-boarding bush...the least of yeast whole loves of bread. When we obey God's words, we come to realise that in divine providence nothing is "good for nothing". We become "a people, a name, a praise, and a glory".

We’re called to be active members of society and community.
Although it is often easy to find ourselves bemoaning the state of the country, our community, what’s happening within our parish, we’re called not to simply complain, but to get involved, contribute, and make a positive difference; to be Caritas: love in action.
