This Sunday we have a special evensong at St Andrews Redruth. This traditional service is quiet, reflective, and easy to sit back and let it wash over you. The words of the liturgy are 400 years old and there’s something special about saying words that millions have said for 400 years!

Everyone is welcome, whether you want a spiritual experience or a cultural experience. It’s especially recommended if you like good music.

This Thursday we have a special meeting at St Andrews Pencoys.
The church needs some minor repairs, and is without facilities such as toilet.
The congregation has been worshipping with the Methodists, and alternates between the church and chapel each Sunday. In the winter we only meet in Fourlanes Methodist, as St Andrews Pencoys is just too cold!!
At 7pm on Thursday 23rd we want to ask the community what they want for St Andrews, and how they are able to support the future of the building.
All are welcome and we will welcome questions. But we especially need support for the future of the building.

We have something a little special coming up next week. This is a gentle “course” that explores some of the basics of Christian Living. Whether you are a curious observer, or have been a Christian forever, you’d be so welcome. The course is 5 weeks, but feel free to pop along to try the first session.
We’d appreciate you booking to help prepare resources…

It was wonderful to be in Truro Cathedral this afternoon to support our Worship Leaders as they were commissioned. Julia, Linda, Mary, Luke, Wes, Pip and L*z (in absentia) were commissioned to lead services in the churches across our Parish. Their ministry means that we can have services in each church most weeks. We are very grateful for them and their ministries!!

What a lovely afternoon at Christchurch Lanner for Three Biscuits and a Prayer, our Seasonal Sunday for Trinity Sunday.

We explored God as Creator, Jesus and Holy Spirit through a simple reading, a short song, prayer and some wonderfully decorated biscuits. It was relaxed, creative and full of conversation — exactly the kind of gentle space these afternoons are becoming.

Thank you to everyone who came along, joined in, helped, chatted, decorated, ate biscuits and made the afternoon feel so welcoming.

Our Seasonal Sundays are open to all ages and are a relaxed way to explore faith, creativity and community together.

Here are some of today’s brilliant biscuit creations. 🍪✨

We are grateful that our Town Band support lots of events and services that we do over the year; from playing at fetes to supporting the Good Friday Walk of Witness… and of course the Carol Service at St Andrews!

If you fancy having a go, no matter your age or experience, then this Wednesday is the day to pop along to Treleigh Church Hall to try their new progressive band!

🎶 Exciting News from Redruth Town Band 🎶

We are delighted to announce the launch of the Redruth Town Bands Progressive Band — fully compliant, ready to begin, and open to anyone who would love to learn music in a friendly and supportive environment.

It’s never too late to learn a new skill, and whether you’re a complete beginner or returning to music after many years, we would love to welcome you. Instruments and music will be provided, making it easy for you to get started.

Join us for our Open Evening on Wednesday 3rd June from 6:00pm–7:00pm at Treleigh Church Hall.

Come along, meet the team, find out more, and discover the joy of making music together. We’ll be very happy to answer any questions and provide further information.

We look forward to welcoming you! 🎺✨
