What a lovely afternoon at Christchurch Lanner for Three Biscuits and a Prayer, our Seasonal Sunday for Trinity Sunday.

We explored God as Creator, Jesus and Holy Spirit through a simple reading, a short song, prayer and some wonderfully decorated biscuits. It was relaxed, creative and full of conversation — exactly the kind of gentle space these afternoons are becoming.

Thank you to everyone who came along, joined in, helped, chatted, decorated, ate biscuits and made the afternoon feel so welcoming.

Our Seasonal Sundays are open to all ages and are a relaxed way to explore faith, creativity and community together.

Here are some of today’s brilliant biscuit creations. 🍪✨

We are grateful that our Town Band support lots of events and services that we do over the year; from playing at fetes to supporting the Good Friday Walk of Witness… and of course the Carol Service at St Andrews!

If you fancy having a go, no matter your age or experience, then this Wednesday is the day to pop along to Treleigh Church Hall to try their new progressive band!

🎶 Exciting News from Redruth Town Band 🎶

We are delighted to announce the launch of the Redruth Town Bands Progressive Band — fully compliant, ready to begin, and open to anyone who would love to learn music in a friendly and supportive environment.

It’s never too late to learn a new skill, and whether you’re a complete beginner or returning to music after many years, we would love to welcome you. Instruments and music will be provided, making it easy for you to get started.

Join us for our Open Evening on Wednesday 3rd June from 6:00pm–7:00pm at Treleigh Church Hall.

Come along, meet the team, find out more, and discover the joy of making music together. We’ll be very happy to answer any questions and provide further information.

We look forward to welcoming you! 🎺✨

Huge thanks to Cornwall Electrical Contractors for installing the new Defib cabinet at St Euny Church. It’s been a while sorting the replacement, but we are nearly there! Here’s hoping it’s never needed.

Seen and Unseen – this Sunday at 2.30pm

A little reminder that our Seasonal Sunday is happening this weekend — and here’s a glimpse of what we will be creating 👇

Using solar paper, these prints are made simply by placing objects into the light and letting the image develop. Some come out bold and clear, others more delicate — it all depends on what you choose and how the light reaches it.

We will also be tracing shadows and seeing what appears when we stop and notice.

It is relaxed, creative, and open to all ages.
No experience needed. No pressure to get it right.

Come along, have a go, and see what happens.

Huge thanks to Redruth Town Band for joining us for the walk of witness through town. It was, as always, a poignant moment on a somber day.

Please do join us at St Andrews at 2pm for our hour at the cross. If you are intrigued by what Good Friday is really about, please come and see. It’s a gentle, reflective service. And you might be surprised by how helpful it is.
