After more than 40 years in the Gran Chaco region of Paraguay, Church Mission Society (CMS) Mission Partner Tim Curtis is retiring from full time service.

We are looking forward to seeing Tim this weekend - he will be preaching on Sunday morning at our 10am service at St Bede's School. We will take time over this weekend to hear his reflections on his time serving the Énxet people group - including overseeing the translation and publication of the whole Bible in their language, the recording of the audio Bible, the development of a hymnal, translation of discipleship materials, and the dubbing of the Jesus Film Project into Énxet.

As a reliable source of transport with his trusty Hilux, a host to indigenous pastors in the region as well as people passing through, and his 4-hour commute to pick up his post from the capital, Tim has tales to tell of wildlife, weather, and worship in a place few of us will ever see!

This Sunday we meet at St Bede's as usual at 10am for a shorter than usual morning service celebrating Ascension. Then there will be time to collect children and grab a hot drink before our APCM (annual church meeting). We have to elect Churchwardens and thank Mike for serving for the last six years. We also have nominations for PCC and Deanery Synod. Add to that an overview of church finances, and we'll come away with a fresh appreciation for God's goodness and faithfulness to us. The whole thing will take 45minutes or less and we would love it if you could stay!

Tomorrow is National Day of Street Worship organised by Worship On The Streets
Here in Redhill a team from local churches including HT, will be outside Redhill Tabernacle 12noon to 1pm singing and sharing the good news of Jesus with Saturday shoppers. All welcome!

Our 10am service is at St Bede's as usual this Sunday. While we meet in exam season we are trialling a short service of Holy Communion at 11.45am in church. We invite you to come to St Bede's for our morning service, then walk down to church to gather at the Lord's Table and share the bread and wine. All welcome.

This Sunday morning at St Bede's School we'll be sharing the joy of baptism with the Taylor family as well as continuing our series in the New Testament letter of 1 Corinthians. We have a supervised creche and groups for children aged 3 right up to school year 9. You will be very welcome - our services are open to all.

This Easter Sunday we have two services:
At 10 am we are at St Bede's School for an all age celebration including Holy Communion.
At 6pm in church the band will lead us in our Easter Praise with hymns and songs old and new.

Today is Maundy Thursday when Christians around the world remember the last meal that Jesus and his disciples shared before his death. At our quiet and reflective service this evening at 8pm we will spend time remembering Jesus' call to "do this in remembrance of me."

Tomorrow we have two services - at 10am we are in church for an All Age service exploring Jesus' death on the cross.

At 7pm we will have a service of hymns, readings, and anthems by the choir.

Our services are open to all and we look forward to meeting you this Easter.
