These words remind us that faith is not simply something we keep to ourselves. We are called to encourage one another, to lift one another up, and to inspire one another to live lives marked by love, kindness, and compassion.

In a world that can often feel disconnected, Hebrews invites us to be intentional, to notice those around us, to offer support where it is needed, and to be a source of hope and encouragement.

May we be people who build others up, who celebrate the good we see in one another, and who reflect Christ's love through our words and actions.

We’re looking for a Coffee Shop Operations & Development Manager to help lead and develop Common Ground across multiple sites in Redcar.

This is a role for someone who loves hospitality, people, community, mission and making things work well.

📍 Multi-site role across Redcar
🕒 24 hours per week
💷 £19,668 per year
📅 One-year fixed-term contract, with potential to extend
⏰ Apply by Monday 22nd June, end of day

We’re looking for someone who can lead teams, support volunteers, oversee day-to-day café operations, develop systems, and help grow Common Ground as a place of welcome, belonging and hope.

There is a genuine occupational requirement for the post-holder to be a practising Christian.

Just a reminder that Little Gems toddler group at Redcar Baptist Church will not be meeting this week due to the half-term holiday.
