A Youth Initiative (Reading) A Youth Initiative A Youth Initiative or AYI was formed by members of the Muslim community in Reading.

Currently in its embryonic stages, A Youth Initiative is a Dawah project, aimed at the brothers and sisters ranging from 14years -30years old. In these times of turmoil, A Youth Initiative aims to to re-connect the believers hearts to the Quran and the Ahl-e- Bait. "The messenger of Allah (s) said: "I am leaving for you two precious and weighty Symbols that if you adhere to both of them you shall

not go astray after me. They are, the Book of Allah, and my progeny, that is my Ahlul-Bayt. The Merciful has informed me that These two shall not separate from each other till they come to me by the Pool (of Paradise)." This Ilm (knowledge) will be brought to you by leading Scholars and teachers of the Ahl-e- Sunnah wa'al Jamah (As sawad al-azam) as the wise saying goes 'Knowledge is taken from the presence of Scholars, not the pages of books'. Adidas has sparked outrage after featuring Israeli soldier Shalev Biton, who took part in Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, in its latest advertising campaign.

Biton, who lost a leg during Israel’s genocide on Gaza, is featured promoting Adidas’ new “Single Shoe Service” - a scheme allowing customers who only need one shoe to purchase it for half the price of a pair.

But Adidas’ decision to use an IDF soldier has drawn widespread condemnation, particularly as thousands of Palestinians have suffered life-changing amputations as a result of Israel’s attacks.
