This is the official page for St John's Church Hartley Wintney. We have two streams on a Sunday morning, traditional at 9am, and and contemporary at 10.45am, held in a Covid-secure environment. We stream our contemporay service online. We also a have a coffee shop which will be reopening soon serving fair trade coffee and home-made cakes!

This time next week, the Village Festival will be buzzing, and we can't wait to welcome you to St John's Church, Hartley Wintney.
We've got plenty happening throughout the day, including:
free games for all ages
tea, coffee and homemade cakes
Operation Back to School uniform giveaway
and a quiet space inside the church for anyone looking for a moment of peace and reflection.

Whether you're coming for the festival, meeting friends, entertaining the children, or simply fancy a cuppa and a chat, we'd love you to stop by and say hello.

🎒 Operation: Back to School is coming to the Village Festival! 🎒

Next Saturday, we'll be opening our Uniform Giveaway at St John's Church Centre as part of the village festival.
We'll have a range of new and pre-loved school uniform available free of charge to help families get ready for the new school year.

The giveaway is open on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.

If you're preparing for September, please do come along and see us. You'll also be able to enjoy all the other activities happening at St John's throughout the day, including games, refreshments, and a welcoming community atmosphere.

We will also be accepting donations of good-quality school uniform at the drop-in, so if your children have outgrown items that could help another local family, we'd be grateful to receive them.

We look forward to seeing you there!

A special community screening of People’s Emergency Briefing is taking place at St John’s Church Centre (in the hall), Hartley Wintney on Sunday 7th June at 2pm.
The film brings together leading UK scientists and experts to explore how the climate and environmental crisis connects to everyday issues including extreme weather, food security, health and the cost of living.
There’ll also be a discussion afterwards about what it means for the local community and practical things people can do locally.
