Remembering those who were brutalised, murdered, kidnapped on this day one year ago.
Lord we pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
May those who desire to see your people removed from their land be thwarted.
May Palestine, the Promised Land, be the home of the sons and daughters of Abraham until the day you return to the Mount of Olives and take your rightful place.

Doesn't seem possible that it's 25 years!

5 September 2024 marks 25 years since the beginning of the first 24-7 Prayer Room, and the start of a chain of unbroken prayer that has continued for a quarter of a century. Watch the 25th birthday video.

No offence meant to my male friends, but isn't it interesting that the Old Testament refers to Wisdom as Female.

Proverbs 4:5-9 NKJV
[5] Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth. [6] Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; Love her, and she will keep you. [7] Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. [8] Exalt her, and she will promote you; She will bring you honor, when you embrace her. [9] She will place on your head an ornament of grace; A crown of glory she will deliver to you.”

Is that a reflection on the tendency for men to rush into things whilst women might take longer to consider their actions?
