DATE FOR YOUR DIARY - Saturday 4th July our famous Caribbean Evening returns at St Mark's Hall, Cranbury Road, Reading, RG30 2TA

An amazing evening of food (included in ticket price), music, raffle and lots of fun (and rum punch!). A bar is available.

We ideally need to know if you are coming for catering purposes. Sign up in either church or email the parish office ([email protected])

Did you know you can join us for Compline (night prayer) at 9pm on Wednesdays and Sundays via zoom.

The ancient office of Compline derives its name from a Latin word meaning 'completion' (completorium). It is above all a service of quietness and reflection before rest at the end of the day. It is most effective when the ending is indeed an ending, without additions, conversation or noise.

We also have fortnightly parish prayers via zoom on a Monday at 7pm.

DONATIONS FOR OUR SUMMER EVENTS - We are planning our summer events within the parish:

Saturday 6th June - Parish Summer Fair at All Saints Hall 2pm - 4pm
Saturday 20th June - Family Fun Day at St Mark's Church, 2pm - 5pm

We also have our Caribbean Evening on Saturday 4th July at St Mark's Hall, 7pm - 10pm

We would love donations for our events if you are able to - or if you have anything at home, unused, unloved.

We'd love plant cuttings for our two June events (any seedlings you are growing or cuttings we can sell.
We'd love cakes and lovely things to eat
We'd love any unused, unopened items we can use for raffle prizes or tombola prizes

We can put anything to use! Do bring in anything you might have at home into either church and do come along and support our events if you are able.

Final reminder that we have our Annual Parochial Church Meeting on Sunday (17th May) at All Saints Church, Downshire Square.

Therefore the service will start at 10am (there is no other morning service at either parish church). The APCM will then start at 11.30am.
